You can schedule your computer to hibernate, sleep, or shut down at a specific time. For example, if your PC is running a long task and you need to leave, you can set it to shut down automatically later.
As a bonus: some Windows PCs have an odd quirk — they hibernate, but then restart right afterward. This small utility includes a feature called “Avoid restarting after hibernation”. The tool can’t technically stop Windows from restarting after hibernation, but it monitors the system for 60 seconds after it has restarted. If it detects that the PC has restarted within that time, it automatically triggers hibernation again. In most cases, that resolves the issue.
No installation is required — just run the executable file. It’s completely free, so enjoy!

There’s no installation required — the program comes as a simple .exe file. Just copy the folder to any location you like, and it’s ready to run.
If you want quicker access, you can create a shortcut or pin it to your Windows taskbar. That way, you can launch it instantly without digging through folders. Many people prefer setting it up this way (and so do I by the way).
I understand the concern — safety comes first. If you’d like extra peace of mind, you can upload the file to VirusTotal.
